At the Full Council Parish Council meeting of 27th March 2024, it was RESOLVED to seek the approval of the Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities to apply for a PWLB loan of £680,000 over the borrowing term of 25 years for Moredon Sports Hub. The annual loan repayments will come to around £49,837.28.
It is also intended to increase the council tax precept for the purpose of the loan repayments by 11% a year. This will be subject to a precept increase consultation.
