Youth & Community Work

Encouraging children and young people of the parish to achieve their aspirations is an important priority for Central Swindon North.

One of the key focuses of youth work is to…

Utilise young people’s view of the world. Treating young people with respect. Seeking to develop young people’s skills and attitudes rather than remedy ‘problem behaviours’. Helping young people develop stronger relationships and collective identities.

Who We Are

Central Swindon North Parish Council have a small team of community and youth workers who deliver a community and youth projects and programmes across the parish. Our youth team also works in partnership with Shine Pinehurst, Swindon borough council, Wiltshire police and the Olive Tree café.
