Cyclocross
Cyclocross is a competitive cycling discipline that combines elements of road cycling, mountain biking, and cross-country running. Cyclocross typically takes place on off-road courses that include a mix of grass, dirt, mud, gravel, sand, and obstacles such as barriers, stairs, and steep hills.
Riders use specialized cyclocross bikes, which resemble road bikes but are equipped with wider tires for improved traction and clearance for mud.
