3G Pitch Permitted Footwear

Only appropriate footwear is permitted to be worn when playing on the 3G pitch. Football boots with moulded studs or screw-in plastic studs are required.

Blades, astroturf or dimpled trainers, metal studs, and flat-soled trainers are strictly prohibited.

All footwear must be clean and free from mud, soil and stones, prior to usage on pitch.

Studs must be fitted correctly to the shoe sole, must be free of sharp edges or burrs, and have a smooth and undamaged surface. The profile of the stud must be an even wear across the bottom of the stud. Metal studs are strictly prohibited.

No person will be permitted on to the pitch surface without the correct footwear under any circumstances. This applies to players, managers, coaching staff, physios and match officials.
